First week back and we were lucky with the weather. Gardening, cooking, driving, bouncing, painting.

On Friday we played Bingo and sang songs in a zoom meeting with our friends at Young at Heart.

It's been a busy week!

We made "Logan's ginger biscuits" with our friends at Young at Heart this week. Despite the slight hitch with the first step, they tasted delicious.

On Friday, Ellie delivered cakes (kindly made by Chloe-Ann and her mum), flags and sunflowers to our friends at Young at Heart to celebrate VE Day.

This week, our Shedder friends from Age Concern Heathfield and District have begun building their new workshop and our lovely new office/staffroom is open for business!

We have also planted a sunflower for each of the children in the new key group who are coming back this week.

Making the most of the lovely weather.

A spot of fishing, games at the park and 2 zoom catch ups with our friends at Young at Heart.

The sunflowers that the Big Tinkers planted last term have been repotted into bigger pots and they are going to be delivered to each of our friends at Young at Heart. Thank you so much to the big Tinkers who have made Union Jack flags to put in each for VE Day. It was lovely to see you!

Out and about in the sunshine today. Looking after the animals and the seeds- it's a full time job!

If you go down to the woods today...

At Little Tinkers we have been welcoming the dry weather and the promise of spring in lots of different ways.

  • Some of us were chasing bubbles.

  • The Little Tinkers have been really enjoying yoga- good for all ages!

  • We were all excited to play tennis outside with Greg.

Big Tinkers have absolutely loved investigating the fossils that were kindly donated. They used toothbrushes to gently clean them and then looked more closely with magnifying glasses.

They found ammonites, bits of bone and even some sharks' teeth!
